View Full Version : Aluminum hop-up parts good or bad?

Is there anything wrong with using aluminum parts on your off-road car? Parts like shock towers, rear arms, Bulkhead? Is this stuff to soft? Will it hold up to everyday running? Just want to know because it's a lot cheaper than graphite and it looks cool to!!

Cheaper??? I wish! Aluminum is better in every way except in cost and weight, it weighs more and costs a LOT more.

Yes it is good to get for those kind of uses but it you break things like plastic bumpers or things like that you might want to pay a little more and get the titatium or alloy parts they are stronger than aluminum and won't bend like aluminum.
