Steve, a few years ago in a couple of the magazines, there were some really kool home-built projects. I just wondered if you could anwser a couple questions. 1st, there was a 1/4 scale drag car with a conley V8 in it. I beleive the name of the car was "Proctors Gamble". Could you tell me the top speed of that thing. The other question was about another drag car named, oh shoot, what was it called, well it had a jet engine on it and had a corvette body. If you remember it, can u tell me if that car ever did have a successful run and the top speed of it. Thanks for any info.

R2R - I don't know that we got a chance to run these cars, so I couldn't tell you what the speeds are. The V-8 engines aren't made for performance, they're made for scale appeal. I think they would go faster with a standard 23cc two-stroke, but who knows. http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
