i am just getting into the RC world, and would like some help. Can anyone tell me which direction I should go ( Car or Truck, Gas or Electric) What is the best vehicle for a beginer like myself that would like to get into something i can build up later as i learn more. I would like to be able to upgrade into something that really kicks *** . I think I will go with a truck, but am not sure which one is best for me.

If you want a bigger type truck and you should get a truck get a nitro stampede it will go about 30mph and will really do some cool stunts. It has many available hopups and can be upgraded with larger wheels shocks motors etc quite easyly. Some might say start with the elec. one but I really think you should skip it and go straight to nitro because they go a lot faster and are more relistic. If you go to http://www.easyrc.com there will be some tips for begginers it is part of tower hobbies which is the biggest rc car store on the internet. If you go racing at a track that is near you and don't do much backyard bashing you may want to go with the traxxas rustler or duratrax maxium st. They are stadium nitro trucks with are made more for a track and some bashing. You really can't go wrong with any nitro cars and trucks from http://www.traxxas.com and http://www.duratrax.com they are mostly all made for the begginer because they are Ready To Run RTR which means no building or anything like that your ready to go drive it. When you make your choice go to http://www.towerhobbies.com just type in the name of the truck you want and they will show you what they have and they have the lowest prices of anyone. Hope you have fun with which ever truck you get and make sure your local hobby store provides parts for what ever truck you get so you don't have to wait a week to get a part you broke. Just my 2 Cents. almost 3
