Avoid the walls and any drainage units that are in the curb. My friend learned that the hard way when he was driving his car 60 ft out and going towards the curb it dissappeared. We had to lift the manhole, lets just say the car didnt smell too good. http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif

No offense DJ. But thats not a tip is it? If you have to read a tip telling u not to drive your car into a wall or drive it down a drain, then dont even touch my tx! http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/biggrin.gif http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Yeah well... I think when I start racing I will put a big poster on my ceiling above my bed saying:

Don't Crash.
It's Your
MONEY.

Always good to have little notes to your slef. Maybe a sticky pad on your toolbox with the same slogan. Hey you could even put it on the hood of the car. http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Well here is a serious one if you guys dont already practice it. It is for elec. motor hook ups. You don't have to solder the wires to the motors. You can clamp these wire connector thins, sorry I forgot the name, they look like this from the side:
ignore the [][
[][__
__)__=O <~~wire enters this whole

They hook on to the place where you mount the capacitators and the motor wires. Im not sure if there is a power loss, I dont think there is. Just be sure they are on nice and tight. It makes changing between motors so much easier.

ALways shrinkwrap the area around the MIP CVD pin. This way it will stay in their...I made a projectile out of when when it came loose...wheels were spinning at about 8,000 RPMS before comm cutting, brush and hood alignment. that means it was roughly 10K, divided by 2..wheel was spinning at about 5K RPMS when the pin shot out.

You mean put a large piece of heat-shrink over the universal part? Should you heat and shrink it alot? That might even keep them clean too.
