Does anyone use loctite on there engine mounts you know the screws that hold your enging down? The bottle says it works on temps no higher than 140?

I must admit, I dont use loctite on the actual engine to engine-brace screws. But I do use them EVERYWHERE else.

I use Loctite on the engine mounting screws as well. I wish you guys could see how an engine jumps around at high rpm. I never knew how violently RC nitro engines vibrated until I started doing dyno testing. Granted, engine mounting screws can be tightened pretty well on their own, but if you could see what I see, you never install another screw without Loctite. http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif

But do you use it on metal to plastic conections? It says it can be harmful to plastic?

I do I am not sure it it improves its ability to stay in but it won't hurt the plastic.
