Novak Super Rooster is a large ESC, are you sure it will fit in your car?

Unless you plan on racing, and cutting your motor after EVERY run, dont get the 6 turn. A 12t is the lowest I would go for bashing, and some racing.

I hardly ever use a 6turn motor even in oval racing (pan car). Even the carpet tracks where traction is very good runtime may be issue and 7 double or triples are the lower that's used. For touring car a 9 double, single is on the edge for an asphalt surface.
If you have already purchased the motor, so you won't totally have to buy another just get an armature or 2 in a higher turn and wind range. You will need to learn some motor building and setup techniques but replacing armatures is what many of us do when trying to tailor motor power to track and vehicle plus it's cheaper than buying complete motors that may never get used. Mark the position of endbell screw to a correspond position on motor can - to help in reassembling motor so it turns in correct direction. Remove springs, brushes then loosen each endbell screw until you can rotate it and remove it. Keep track of the position each shim was put on armature, replace them in same way when using another armature (or perform a spin test to see how shims should be placed so armature is perfectly centered in the magnet field). Put in armature, then endbell/retaining ring attached, twist to correct position and tighten the screws just enough to prevent endbell from moving, don't overtighten or it may put too much drag on armature assembly.
If you are racing with other racers, most of them will give you good information on motors they find work best.
For my competitive vehicles I use the Quantum Competition 1 & 2 escs, match cells, Futaba 3PJ or 3PK radio.
