Hi,
What do you mean by too many capacitors? can you be a bit more explicit so that I can help you. Do you mean many electrolytic capacitors in series or in parallel, or do you mean 0.01uf ceramic capacitors that are used in series and parallel in a motor. If you can tell me what you mean by too many capacitors I am sure I can give you the right answer.
Just remember the difference between putting capacitors in parallel vs series.
Like I sdaid, if you can be more explicit about your question I am sure either I can give you the right answer or someone else can. Just by saying too many capacitors it is impossible to figure out what the cause and effects are.
Good luck.
Ok it you had built in capacitors like some of Trintiys endbells SMC as thay call and you add two more. one on each motor tab and then to the can.I dont know what there uf was.Sorry but thay were light blue and ceramic very small. But I figgered I did not need 5 the 2 little ones and the 3 built into the endbells. So I removed them.Heres what I do know the guy I got them from said they(motors) ran "slow" but thay wher nothing wrong thay I could see with the motors them selfs besides the lightly dirty coms. But when I tested them thay sounded "slower" with the the extra caps. So I took the off and thay sounded faster.Like I asked "to many caps?"

Extra caps won't hurt anything. They just filter out RF noise.

The extra capacitors shouldn't effect how your motor runs; its all in your head :D .
After doing some testing, I have noticed that compared to other companies endbells with capacitors built in, the Trinity endbells do a poor job of filtering the interference. The effects of this may vary from car to car, but in extreme cases, these endbells may cause (well, technically they dont cause the glitching, they just dont filter out the interferance caused by the motor as well as others)an extreme amount of glitching. I would keep the two capacitors on your endbell just for some more security.

OK. No it was not all in my head. But I did forget :o to say that after good cleaning inside and out I returned the timing to 0.So I think that was the RPM change I heard. But Thanks to all that replyed. :) :)
