And a lot wonder why Traxxas manages to sell so many - its called market exposure, part of a pretty good (results) marketing strategy.

in alot of mens like complex (http://www.complex.com/cgi-bin/buyersguide/show.cgi?type=cats&guide=Rides) magazine they do have have rc related things. in complex mag they did some thing on the rs43 evo and also proline bodies.

think about it...it works for both. I know yokomo sent a mag a drift kit so they would get exposure, and it turned out the mag sold more copies because the Rc drivers wanted to check it out.

If they did pay for the advertising, I think its money well spent. Maxim, Stuff, FHM type magazines probably have the most readership than any other mags out there in the Age 17-37 Male market.

Kelly Clarkson...come on now...she's a hottie...and she has a beautiful voice, the least you can do is get her name right.
As for Traxxas paying them...maybe...but I doubt it. Even if they did, who cares? The Jato is an exceptional truck, and Traxxas is a great company (even if I'm not a particularly large fan of theirs). Exposure for Traxxas means exposure for r/c in general. There is no such thing as bad publicity, and a Jato in a magazine such as Stuff is just awesome.
