Here's my first airbrushed body. It's a tribute to my grandfather who passed away Thursday. Although I feel that it wasn't really his time, he died peacefully in his sleep without pain, and I wouldn't want it any other way.
I used Faskolors paint and Faskoat for the pictures. I also have the year of his birth and the year of his death on the wing, although they aren't visible in this pic.

JB, that's an awesome tribute to your grandfather. I'm positive he's really proud of you for this work. Very well done, and very tastefully done.

JB.....I'm sure you remember me. Sorry to hear about your G-pa bro. That is an awesome looking body tho. I know Microdude said take a memorial lap...which could be cool, but that may be all you wanna take... The memorial is kinda the body, so I am sure you don't want to run it or mess it up. My prayers go out to you and your family.

JamminJay-Yes I do remember you (chargers are working great!). I would like to thank all of you for your comments. Painting this body helped cheer me up some, and these comments show me why I love this hobby - we have some of the nicest people around.
About a memorial lap, It's a nice idea, but I don't plan on mounting the body, let alone run it.

Very touching. It looks really nice.

Not to be mean, but when I first saw it (the picture) I thought it was George Bush at first glance.

He did vaguely resemble George Bush if you looked at him from the right angle; you're not the only person to think that.

Okay it's good I didn't make you mad lol.
I will definitely look into doing this if one of my close family members dies.
