What kind of racing? on or offroad. rotary for offroad and slide for onroad.

It all depends on your car. Slide carbs are harder to install, and are most commonly used on on-road. Lately, the smooth throttle action has drawn the attention of off-roaders too. IMHO, I think slides are a superior design. If your car can accept one, and your wallet allows it, buy a slide. Rotaries are less of a pain to adjust, but are a little fickle at mid-throttle.

I just got the CV-R slide on my XXX NT.
