I would avoid that car: It looks like a generic no-name brand, and getting parts will likely be very difficult. Parts availability is probably the biggest factor in choosing a car: No sense in getting the fastest race car if it has to sit for weeks while you wait to repair it.

It's worth it to spend the money on a good car from HPI, Associated, Tamiya, Losi, or other companies.

^um...isnt there alcohol in nitro fuel already or is that something else? i should know this :o

try this-it may be a bit fast (i know my first nitro rc was but not anymore) but this is what i would suggest. if its too fast just make it a 1 speed...or strip a spur :p http://cgi.ebay.com/HPI-RS4-3-18SS-many-aluminum-hopups-excellent-condition_W0QQitemZ5991097107QQcategoryZ34063QQrdZ 1QQcmdZViewItem

You prob don't have the right alcohol anyway, but no, its nitromethane that makes fuel more powerful. Just dumping something into fuel is a good way to cut the oil content so its too low to do its job and you seize the engine - get it hot enough to weld the piston to the sleeve. Remember, these are 2 stroke engines and the oil mixed with the gas is needed to lube and cool the guts of the engine. Unless you really know what you're doing, I wouldn't recommend adding anything to nitro fuel.

Thats at least a name brand car you can get parts for, beyond that, I wouldn't have any advice. I would say be careful buying on ebay, there are no guarantees.
