I'm about to buy the Fuataba 3pjs and wanted to use the 3rd chanel as a mixture control. I have read about it beeing done, and I feel that it might give me an edge in racing.
what do I need to get to make this happen.

thanks

Nothing big, just a computer controlled carb or electronic fuel injectioin.

who makes computer controled carbs and/or elec fuel injectors. I searched Tower Hobbies and couldn't find anything.

i've seen a little ball-**** valve that goes inline with a smoke/fuel line. I think you can use it to lean out the high mixture adjustment with a servo.

I was being a smart but, but with what was just said I think you very well can do this.

EFI or computer controlled carbs aren't made for rc motors. There are a few for airplanes but they are very expensive.

BUT, in paintball, there is a company called palmers pnuematics. They make all kinds of little pumps, valves and stuff like that.

You could hook a digital servo up to on of these really small valves and control the fuel flow.

This is a really good idea and im gonna look into it.

send me a message on aim, or drop me an email so we can talk more about it. iexodus1 on aim or markt1230@home.com email.

My friend runs a 3rd channel for a mixture control on his boat... it tops out around 70mph... pretty cool...
