Im waiting for my dad to come home so i can order a new steering servo and some other stuff cause right now its in pieces.
Lets make this thread to..."What are you waiting for?"

yes its a Savage SS and it tuck me four hours to start it up in the end i had to heat the heat sink with a hot air gun so as soon is i get my radio stuff to morrow if all goes well i will be driving it so fingers crosed
ps will my engine always be this hard to start

no your engine will only be this hard to start when its new/not fully broken in. After break in it will be reletivly easier.

Shouldn't be - right now its got a lot of pinch cause its new. When the pinch wears a little (part of the purpose of the breakin effort), the pinch will back off some and it'll get easier to start. Most bigger engines seem to benefit from using a heat gun or blow dryer to get the head temp up some before trying to get it started. The heat expands things so the pinch is not so tight.
You can also crack the glow plug loose by 1/8 - 1/4 turn and that will help too. Just don't forget to tighten it back down once its running and you've pulled the igniter off.

good because i have a nice big blister on my finger now where i pulled and pulled and pulled
ps when i was pulling the pull starter it sounded like some thing was banging some where in the engine or could this just of been the glow starter banging on the heat sink
