How much of a difference?

I race in stock touring class and i was wondering how much of a difference there is between homeade battery packs and store bought premade packs?

Premade packs aren't as adjustable. They come soldered back to front, back to front. The home made packs can have silver battery bars which have VERY low resistance and are assembled any way you want (as loing as its not front to front or something). saddle, like store bought sticks, side X side, etc. Home made also give you more of a choise of which batteries you want to use because more often than not the best batteries dont come assembled.
