My double sided tape isn't sticking from my reciever switch to the rear shock tower of my new FT GT. What is wrong?
I have alredy cleaned it with hydrogen peroxide on a rag.

Try rubbing acohol.
Also, what type of tape are you using? Pick up some of the Bolink Double stick tape, that stuff is the stickiest stuff I have ecountered.

like they said, clean the surface that the tape is being applied to. also the bolink tape is super strong. I just pulled a 1/4 servo off a slab of lexan. man was it on there good.

hydrogen peroxide ? LOL!
Sorry, but that is too funny.
Does your shock tower have a cut ? :p
Yes, darn near any household CLEANER will work. Windex, 409, etc
Motor spray works killer as a cleaner.

Like 1320 said, you're supposed to screw the switch in, not tape it.

A little (carefully applied of course) blob of Shoe Goo has always been more than enough to hold our switches in place.. saves having to drill the hole(s) for the mount and dealing with those miniature screws..

Though I don't own the FT GT, I do own the ole' black tub chassis version. The rear shock tower that came with the kit had a cut-out that allowed you to mount the Rx switch (you just had to remove the On/Off plate from the switch, and re-install so that the shock tower was between the switch and plate)....did they do away with this on the new FT shock tower? Other than that, using alcohol and Bolink double-sided tape was a win-win combo for me in other situations.
