I have purchased a Y535 for my New Version of the 1/12 Miss Bud and the new prop fits loose on the shaft and it the drive dog. The instructions that came with the prop said to put a wrap on electrical tape around the shaft before putting the prop on. On top of that, the prop nut keeps backing off so I plan on using loc-tite and a new nut to correct this problem. Has anyone experienced this problem and what have you done to correct it...

The problem is that the shaft is 3mm, not 1/8". You can use a small piece of 1/8" O.D. brass tubing to fill the gap. If not, the vibration with tear up the stuffing tube.
to keep the prop nut on, add a sliver of fuel tubing between the prop and nut. Not only will it help hold the nut on but in case the nut ever does come off the fuel line will stay put. You can use fuel tubing as a substitute if you lose the prop nut until you get another one. You may need to use the large size tubing if the medium (normal line) doesn't fit.

I have solved the problem of the Y535 prop fitting loose on the 3 mm shaft. I first cleaned the shaft with alcohol and then applied a single wrap of the aluminum vent tape that is available at all building supply stores. Be careful to make sure that the tape does not overlap. The prop will then fit snugly on the shaft and can be tightened on with the nut.
