I have a B3, as you can tell, and the rear wheels slip during some turns on my local track. The track surface is loose sand on a hard packed surface. Would it be the tires and what types should I use. I'm currently using the stock ones that come with the kit.

I'd recommend Proline Holeshots.

Most of the times you can never get a slip free offroad track, espescially if its loose. Check what the fast guys are using and go with that. Most racers don't complain for using their set-ups.

The offroad track I race at has a similar surface. It is a hard surface but generally has a coating of loose dirt on top, ranging from dust to about 1/2 deep. I have great luck with Proline's Step-Pins. They bite really well.

Step pins should do it.

I race on a similar surface and have found that Poline BowTie M3 yield good trcation.
Also Losi Silver studs work well for me but only last for 3 runs or so.
Also experiment with different front tires (I use either Proline 4-rib M3 or Edge M2) . Often when you think you have too little rear traction you just have too much front traction .

If the track has a lot of "top soil" and the hard stuff is prety far doun uce *Pro-Line Bowties or *Teamlosi step pins "red compound".

If it ain't fast, don't race IT!!!!!!!!

My tracks like that and the preferred tire to use it Pro-Lines Bow-Tie T. The T's will give you a little bit more cornering traction. I only use the kit tires for now (Bow Ties) but My next tire will be the Bow Tie T. Make sure you get the M3 compound because buggys are so light, they need the extra softness of that kind.

For my B3 I run either Proline fuzzies M3 or Ifmar pins Red. They both work very well. I have gotten to the A Main With both. http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/cool.gif
