Hey well x-mas is around the corner and im staring my list, when i was young we have a cool clot car track with loops and a track that went stright up the wall.

Im thinking of getting another one for x-mas. What are the hobby class ones like? Do they have any on tower? Or should i just get on out of the JcPenny X-Mas catalog?

ive been into hobby class slot cars for 2 years now ( 1/24th scale) and they are a blast you cant get them at any regular store like toys r us n stuff you have to find a slot car track in your area.No tower hobbies doesnt sell them unfortunatly i had to shoose between slot cars and rc well of course i chose rc and i just sold my slot car stuff to a guy and his kid for $100 bux. so if i were you i would check your local hobby shop ask the owner where a slot car track is in your area.

Fantasy World has HO cars too! And R/C too!

We run 1/32 scale cars here at the house during the winter. They are a ball, and much better looking than most HO cars. Plus I can see the durn things! :D

Hey chief.. The main thing to look for is interchangeablity... Make sure you get a set that is easly attainable.. I like Lifelike sets.. and of course Tyco. Both cars are very interchangable, I dont believe the tracks are thou. I have bought 3 track sets, so I can make one huge set up. I built a set like a model train set... On 2 4x8 sheets of wood put together in the garage, built mountains, tunnels and all kinds of fun stuff. AFX is another one, but I dont care for there tracks... Just my 2cents. Anyway, have fun brother...

I have a decent ninco set in my basement, it really is a blast, ecspecially when its raining or in the winter and the ground is covered in snow. I dont know if you can get good 1/32s at Toys R US, or at least non of the top brands like FLY, Scalextrics, Ninco etc.

My god..I never new slot cars were still so popular. I had 3 sets about 19 years ago(I was about 6). They were all AFX. But they were just insane. I may have to pick one up soon and start up again.. :D

Hmm, I dont think my post was bad about this. But im sure there is a reason why it was deleted...Can I have a hint RCCA? You could have asked me to edit it or edit it yourselves. Im not holding anything against you, just wondering why a couple of my posts have been disappearing :/

Timber.....Ninco, Scalextric and Carrera all make great 1/32 scale home tracks. They,as well as Fly and MRRC all make great 1/32 cars as well.

If you can find them, old Revell sets from the '60's also make great sets, although there is not as many different pieces available for Revell. I have been using my Revell siince the mid '60's. I also have a small Carrera set for my son, which is also pretty nice track.

BTW.....they are definitely on the west coast. www.fantasyworldhobbies.com (http://www.fantasyworldhobbies.com) is in Tacoma,WA, and www.electric-dreams.com/elecdrms.htm (http://www.electric-dreams.com/elecdrms.htm) is in California.
