I bought this car about a week ago from Saturday and I'm having major problems. The car will not stay straight after any adjustments made to the car and the controller. It is spitting out large amounts of gas from the exhaust. It is also goin through glow plugs like crazy. I have not broke it in (tring to do that but major problems). It will start fine from time to time but idle flip flops. The car will not drive off when I give it gas it just bogges down like it is choking out, but I let of the gas to make an adjust and it will take off a full throttle, braking does not work to well cause the car is at full throttle just have to steer it to a safe crashing point. Is this normal for breaking in a RC Car. The Hobby shop and Duratrax is telling me that it is normal for a car to take off like that but I'm not tellin the car to do that. I've had the car for a week and I'm very upset, the Hobby Shop is tellin me I have to send it back to Duratrax but I want to exchange it for something else cause this car is crap and I'm not very happy with it nor the service from the Hobby Shop and Duratrax. What to do with it????

Info Overload.

OK First I hope you have put new batteries in the radio and in the car. The batteries it comes with are no that great, they only last 15 to 30 minutes if your lucky.

Second lets check your needle adjustments. The high should be about 2 1/2 turns out. And the low shoud be about 2 3/4 out. Take the filter off and look at the opening of the barrel when it is at neutral. It should be about 2mm open.

You said that a lot of fuel is spitting out. Because the engine is to rich it's getting to much fuel and popping the plug.

You said you
"The car will not drive off when I give it gas it just bogges down like it is choking out, but I let of the gas to make an adjust and it will take off a full throttle, braking does not work to well cause the car is at full throttle just have to steer it to a safe crashing point."

You may want to check your servo reversing switch on top of the transmitter. When I bought my ST it was backwards, press the trigger and it would close the carb and vice versa. It runs decent, good power slider http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
