I'm wondering if anyone knows the website for the company that makes the JR XR-3 radio. I want to check it out a little more before I make such a huge purchase. Thanks.

The website of JR is http://www.jrpropo.com However the only thing you can do there is e-mail them. So I suggest you go to the Graupner site, the European importer of JR radio's, http://www.graupner.de
The XR-3 is the XR-3, and the XR-3 FM is the XR-6. I have the XR-6 and I am very pleased with it. It comes with a battery pack installed (don't know if that's the case in the USA too though) and is only 80 Dutch Guilders more than the XR-3.
If you have any more questions please feel free to ask, or e-mail me.

Thanks BoozzZ, I found a place in the states that sells 'em for $150. Your right our version doesn't come with the battery pack, but it's still a great deal when compared with others. I appreciate the site, but I can't read whatever language that is.

Go here: http://www.horizonhobby.com/
Horizon is the distributor for JR stuff in the US AFAIK.

I bought the XR-6 (with battery pack) for 329 Dutch guilders, which is about $140. The www.graupner.de (http://www.graupner.de) site is in German, you can also check out www.graupner.com (http://www.graupner.com) , although not much info is given there.

You can't go wrong with buying a JR XR3. I sold a bunch of them when I had my store and never heard anything bad. I'm just about ready to buy myself one since I only have three cars left. I'm a big JR fan.
