I just tried a new liquid masking product called Sign Strip available from Coast Airbrush. It comes in quart and gallon sizes and is fairly reasonable in price too. The cost is $25 for a quart. I tested it out on the lexan flashing of a new body and I have so say it works just as good as Bob Divleys. I applied 4 coats just to be sure it was thick enough and it cuts very easily and leaves a nice crisp line. The blue tint is nice because you can see where it is still applied. As long as you are not using light blue marker to draw your designs I dont see any drawback to the tinting.

As soon as I find a way to transfer my new design to the other side of the body I plan to give this product a test and apply it to the full body. I will keep you all posted.

$25 for a quart? I can get a gallon of Dively for $50.00, and if it's not broke don't fix it.

As for reversing your design, scan it, flip it, and print it.

A gallon of this stuff is $60 so it is a little more expensive but it is an alternative to the other products on the market. And it doesn't need thinning to spray with an airbrush.

As for the design it s already drawn on the body.

That's cool, it's always good to have options. Thinning is good though. You get more out of it.
