RC 10 T3 question

Hello,

I am brand new to this RC car hobby and have just bought a used RC10 T3. I got a bunch of extra stuff as well. My question is what should my first couple of upgrades be? if you could please explain what the upgrade is and what it will do...thanks

Need a little more information,
What are you gonna do with this RC ? What kind of upgrades does it already have, Bearings, ESC, Servo etc.

hi,

mostly just run it around out in the drive way, but I would like to race it at times. I am told it is a full bearing truck. Thats all that I know of. What is ESC?

You should ask the guy who you are buying the truck from for a list of the upgrades on it. Write it down, or copy the list onto here. It will give everyone an easier way to judge what you have.

I have a T3, and have had it for 3 or 4 years now. I've put just about every upgrade I could find on online hobby shops. But I did upgrade before I broke anything, so I can't tell you what will break. From what I've read, this truck is pretty strong out of the box.

Bearings are a good start for upgrades. It'll increase speed and runtimes, because the wheels and transmission see less friction.

Try to get a list of everything on the truck, and post it here...

Edit: ESC's take the power from the battery pack, and put it to the motor.

here is what he told me.


This is a great race truck. I have been racing for about 15 years and I just keep hanging on to this stuff. I race mostly dirt oval so this truck is set up for that. Comes with 2 packs and a charger. all electronics are Futaba the electric speed control works good and the servo is strong. It has a peak racing nightmare 19 turn motor .it is fast.

I'd email him back, and ask him what kind of batteries (mAh and brand) and what brand of charger. And also ask him what model of ESC is in it.

With those answers, people around here will be able to help you out a lot more.
