Hey Break i would got with Duratrax. My friend has one and it runs nice..i mean very nice...4-tec ***** ...i dont like it...its so weird...when it runs...When i wanted to get into onroad nitro i was choosing between "street force" "4tec" and "hpi rs4 nitro" i picked Hpi couse there is a lot of hop ups parts for it....YOUR CHOICE>>but i would go with Street Force..

I think I would go with ether the duratrax then or the hpi rtr. which one goes faster cause I saw of course the duratrax one goes 50mph so how fast is the hpi rtr? Which one breaks the least? Which one has the most parts to fix it and make it better? Sorry for so many questions but if you could arthur don't sware it is deleted anyway and its hard to read then with missing words.
Thankyou!

OK.. Thing is this....

Duratrax--Fast right out of the box. If you want something cheaper then this is a great choice. It is fast 50mph easily. But i dont like it that much.
HPI rtr..will not go close to Duratrax..but if you buy additional 2speed trans. then it may be able to beat duratrax...NO gurantees..i bought HPI and put hpi aluminum pipe on it which made a big difference..soon ill put 2sp on it too..but i have to wait couse i messed up my engine by stripping screw holes...

Hey thing is this...if you want a car ready to blow with everything like 2sp and tuned pipe...go for Duratrax but if you are willing to put some cash into your car then go with hpi couse you will find more hopup parts for it...More bodies.... more everything....

If it were me i'd go for the 4-tec pro but if your tring to decide between the duratrax or the hpi get the duratrax it comes with the 2 speed, alum. tuned pipe, heatsink motor mounts, and ball diff's.

if you go with the hpi you'll have to buy all this extra and for the cost of the hpi car and all these "extra's" you could get 2 of the duratrax cars.

Go to nitro forum and there is a topic about many problems. Tires going bald, not shifting for a couple of quarts, and other things.

Now that makes me sort of sway toward the 4-tec. Do they break a lot I mean if you are just a person who doesn't race and just drives around the block on a normal blacktop road?

They are all good, and they ALL break when mishandled, i have a street force on the way, i chose it because it was priced right and the parts are readily available from tower, my nephew has a new nitro 4tec which is already broken.
the point is: anything that moves that fast will break when crashed.
If i were looking to compete i would go AE, Losi, Serpent etc.
