going straight to the point.in a few months i'm getting some cash (around +-$400) and i currently have a hyper pcr buggy with the hyper 4-port.now this buggy was my learning car and got various scars(and a bent chassis)

now i either get a nicer engine(the 4 port is still running fine tho) or get a new "pro" kit like a jammin, mugen or thunder tiger and re-use my old engine+ tuned pipe and radio gear (i can evantually sell my ofna as a roller to get some nice gear too)

to simplify: should i get an os v-spec or a mugen mbx5?

id say it depends what youve done as far as aftermarket stuff on the ofna. if youve put in a fair amount of aftermarket stuff (stuff that can only be used with the ofna of course) like fancy a arms or shocks...i would consider just getting the v spec. if its stock and you dont care about selling it (which you dont seem to) go with the mugen. if its stock, i think you would get more out of it...well...loose more...(kinda confusing to explain)

400 isnt enough for a mugen MBX5

I would suggest getting a new engine, such as an RB WS7 II and some new parts for your car.

as far as aftermarket parts,it got milled front and rear shock towers(not pcr) and alloy steering bellcrank.everything else is stock.money is not an issue 'cause i'm getting around $400,not exactly $400 but a bit more.

what do you think of the xray xb8r?
