I figured i'd post in here since I cant post in the new products forum. I recently bought these brand new KMR 2400's and they're great! For the same price that integy charges for their batteries you get better batteries than SMC!!!! They are discharged at 30 amps so the numbers are more accurate. They have 1.11 and 1.12 volts and about 280 seconds of run time on every pack! You can check them out at KMR homepage (http://www.kmrbatteries.com). They occasionally have ebay auctions for them and you can get them like $10 cheaper than on their website. Just search KMR! They also make 3000's and the latest stock metal hydride batteries allong with the 2400's. Give them a try, its worth it trust me! :D :D :D :D

Pattrick: On what do you base your info to say that these cells are better than SMC ?

Hey, take no offense to this. I'm just stating the obvious. The batteries are just about equal in run time and voltage, but the price difference is what really makes them the better choice. SMC's are $110 a pack! You can get two KMR's for the same price, and if you get lucky get better numbers too! :D

sounds a bit fishy... BRAND new just opened company and someone is already praising them and comparing them to SMC? Hmm... Dunno about that.......

Patrick: I have no problem with you comparing prices but you have to realize that our top of the line packs have a retail of 120.00 with an estimated street price of 89.95. We only sell through distributors and we don't sell to racers direct because we feel this isn't healthy for the industry. Your local track or hobbyshop can't survive on selling screws and other low priced items.

We also offer a 280 + with 1.115-1.119 voltage with an estimated street price of 54.95.

I'm flattered that you used SMC as a reference but to say that there packs are better isn't fair. You can say they are cheaper I have no problem with that.

Uhm... $120 for SMC? That might be suggested retail.. You should be able to get them around $80. There is a differance... Retail List price & accuall price are different...

btw - smc rocks.. I have a pack, and plan on getting another.

I have a solution, Danny, send me 4 of your packs and I'll get these new guys to send me 4 packs and I will test them both and determine a winner :)

Hey guys, every company was a new company at one point in time, dont forget that. I bet the second you use a motor you'll say,"Man this motor is great" or, "Man this motor is slow". So whats the difference with me? I cant praise something that I've used? Also, KMR has been around for a few months so they are new but trustworthy. I know the owner personally and he's an honest guy. Sometimes you can get 1.13Volt packs so they are better in some ways, including price. Just give them a try before you degrade them. :p :p
