HPI Charger or Cuda Dimensions

I was wondering if someone has either of these cars, and wouldn't mind getting me the dimension from doorside of the front wheelwell to doorside of the rear wheelwell? I found the overall wheelbase dimension online @ 12", but am not sure of those measuring points.

Wheelbase measurements are calculated from the center of the front wheel to the center of the rear wheel. In this case, I bet that someone measured from the center of the front wheel well to the center of the rear wheel well.

What vehicle are you trying to mount these bodies onto? Not exactly a good chance, but perhaps someone has already tried to mount one or both of the bodies onto the same vehicle and can offer their comments..

If you hadn't guessed from my nick, I am hoping to put it on a buggy, TL01B chassis. The chassis from axle to axle is 10". In looking at some side shots of that body on the truck chassis it looks like the wheelbase on the truck is 13", the axles do not look centered to me. It could just be the pics though. I was really interested in the Charger. Yeah, love the Dukes of Hazzard! Wished that blower wasn't on there.

If I could find time, I would venture as far as using a hot knife, cutting, and extending the chassis the extra length needed. The hard part with that chassis is modifying the drive shaft in order to keep the 4wd. Boy that sounds fun! I love custom 1 offs!
