OK, I really like the way the new TA04 looks, and the way its set up. From my experience Tamiya's dont break often and that's a plus. My LHS carries parts for them too. But my friend insists i should go wit a TC3 for the shaft. My LHS also carries parts for them. Will their be a big difference performance wise if i go wit the TA04? I will be racing a stock class on a parking lot. But in about 6 months i will move and be racing on carpet. Can any of you's help?

I may get a Tc3 soon and they sound great, and there are no belts to mess up, they also have great acceleration. hope that helps.

Im sure the ta04 is a great car, but go with associated. The tc3 is a great car.

I have to agree, the TA-04 is a step forward for Tamiya, but it still has too much sloppiness in its suspension & steering for my tastes(much like all other Tamiya cars), plus it relies on a belt that'll wear like any other belt-driven cars. The TC3 I think is THE most maintainence-free touring car I've ever owned, & it is one of the best engineered & best handling cars available. Plus, you're certainly going to have an easy time finding people who can help you set it up(while the Tamiya has cosiderably fewer owners to help)..... http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif

Is the TC3 still going to be competitive when the new TC's come out this year? And if the TC3's so good why did the yoke take most of the worlds? And did the TC3 even come in the top ten?

I have heard that some TC3s hhave had arm problems? Just something to concider. Also depending on how much you want to spend the TB01 Evo. (and full racing tb01) is even better then the TC3 TEAM! At least that seems to be the understanding on the HPI forums. Also the slope is very easily fixed on all tamiya cars w/ a few parts. and the price is lower even with the extra fix parts for a tamiya and tamiya is an industry standard you could move to the north pole and the shops sell 'em (well maybe not) but you get the idea. I have a TB01 and I love the car. It can not only drive great it is built solid i mean solid! you could throw it across the track and pick it back up with maybe a broken body post.

yankees2000, the tc3 had the fastest laps at the worlds, and would of won if Mark Pavidas wasnt hacked to death in the mains. 4 finished in the top ten, including Pavidas who was 2nd.
Get a TC3; its the best TC I have ever had.
