I got an E-maxx, its great. But i wanted bigger. So i bought mp tires, i bought all the stuff, but the adapters. Im pretty sure the adapters are just bigger hex heads and bigger nuts. But is anything else included or needed? And what size pinions should i use. I want to keep my acceleration, so im thinking 15 tooth. Please help, spend lotssa money on wheels, want to know it wasn't gonna work.

The adapters sell for around $10 for a set of 4. Each one is a 17mm hub with threads and a big wheel nut (the long MP wheel nut wrench is $4), a small pin that holds the hub on the axle and a set screw that locks the pin in place. My buddy is running the MP rims/tires. He hasn't tried different pinions, but he is running a Robertson Racing steel spur gear. Acceleration and performance are still good. The big tires make the Maxx much bigger and more stable, especially in the turns, but those big tires are very heavy and are very hard for the steering servo and linkage to handle.

Human during normal west coast business hours. Ask for Ron. I think you have to order during the day. I work 10 minutes from Nitro House. I just bought them there 2 weeks ago.
