pullstart problems Miss Bud 1/12

My Miss Bud seems to have a pullstart issue. The starter is new and it is not hydro locked. At times it is very hard to pull and sometimes it acts like I only get half a revolution on the motor when I pull. Plug is new and tight. Can anyone give me some pointers.

check and see if the pull start is tight against the engine. on mine the bottom screw(s) fell out and was pulling away and not being able to turn it over.

Although the starter is new, the one way bearing could be bad. :(

That is just behind the pullstart assembly right? Thanks

the oneway is prolly not bad just has too much oil on it. hit it with WD 40. an easy to hit it with WD is drill a hole in the pull start cover in the middle just large enough for a straw from the WD can to spray through.
