I got a brand new Evader st, so I can run electric at my local indoor track, I'm not sure how to tell about the motors yet. Are there any other motors you all found would work better than the stock motor, or would the stock be good enough.

Thank you all for all the help.

Im not a racer or anything.. but you will probably need to get a new ESC if you want to upgrade to a race spec motor.. also make sure you use 3300s.. :)

I heard that the stock ESC and motor on the Evader suck.. so.. id run it until they die lol..

I'm probly gonna run it stock for a while, until I get my s-maxx up to par.

What would be a good motor / ESC combo to run in it when I do get started on it's upgrades?

Thank you again

Honestly, almost any motor would be better than the one included with the Evader. After a couple runs the comm and brushes are dead. I believe that Duratrax has said that it is safe to run a 19 turn, but I'm not sure if anyone has done this successfully. To start out with, just pick up a stock motor such as the monster stock, p2k2, or Epic Roar stock.

Yeah, P2k2's are pretty good and epic has some very good motors also

But eventually you are going to want more speed

try a 15- turn Epic

thats a pretty good mix of rpm and torque.

The stock ESC will handle a 19t no problem .. Chameleon2 pro- Reedy qaud mag. Two Excellent choices.
