In all transmitters if you use AAs i recommend energizer batteries, jsut the plain ones they will outlast any other non nicad or nimh cells.

I would have to agree with NAIRB on this one. AA's seem to be the most frequently used. No, jk, i use duracell ultras, there expensive, but hold up a while(except for when i leave my tx on http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/frown.gif.

I think my Dynamite (or was it DuraTrax?) NiCad kit (8 cells, and a charger) was around $20.00. I just plug the charger in when I get to the track, and plug it into the Tx every other run untill I run again. It's really a good deal, because 4 sets of AA's is about the same cost, and you never have to worry about batteries going dead on you!

I used Duracell Ultra's as well. They seemed to hold longer than Engergizers.

Ultra for me died in 2 hours of usage unlike energizers that lasted mucho longer.
