Who makes the best, most consistant shock fluid?

It depends on what track and what car they are on, i personally use associated shock fluid on all my cars including losi. the losi fluid never worked as well for me as Ae's. and im not saying thay becouse ima big fan of ae, i personally own more losi's then associateds but i belive there fluid is better.

I think that associated prob makes the best fulid, i havent went erong with them yet.

assoc fluid seems to work fine for me.

Question - if you take three different types of oh lets say 40 wt oil.

What is the real difference? color? smell?

there all 40 wt, same thickness, same viscosity.

it's all about brand names

LOL Crash. You have a good point, i guess thats why Trinity and Losi have good shock oil cuz they are the only ones i have tryed....there really all the same to me, i just go with stuff i don't have problems with. If you wanna go out and buy one of each lets say 40wt shock oil from all the companys that make the oil, test them out and let us know. Team Losi has invested a great deal of money(more than any other) into some very technical equipment to verify the viscosity of every single batch of fluid.

I get Losi because their bottles are bigger. I've tried the older Trinity and it didn't stay as close to the same weight with temp changes. I haven't tried AE yet.

I think this is my 700th post!!! if it is 701, well, im celebrating now!

Anyway, Trinity has the BEST shock fluid. The only manufactuer to GUARENTEE its within a certain percent of what the bottle says. AE or any others could be close, but Trinity's shock oil IS the most consistant, proven.
