Losi Junior T truck grades

I am just getting back to my RC Trucks. I want to upgrade my Junior T. I would like to put a new electric motor and maybe a new ESC or speed controler. Anybody has any pointers?
I know Team Losi don't make this truck anymore. please help. Its been a while...Frenzy

You probably want to be more specific as to what you want to do. If you want to keep it close to stock, then any new stock motor will be great (P2K, Green Machine, so on). As for faster modified motors, there are too many to choose from! I know alot of people have good luck with any of the "Speed Gems" motors from Trinity. By the way an ESC stands for electronic speed control, not sure from your note if you knew that or not. Novak, Tekin, even Duratrax make good, inexpensive speed controls with and without reverse. Just make sure when you buy one, you get one that can handle the motor you bought, or plan to buy. (for example: don't buy a 12 turn motor when your ESC can only handle up to 15 turns.)

the junoir t has a very soft 4 link suspsion in the back of the truck right?
The best thing for you to do would be to upgrade to a better truck, and for aout the same price as a nice motor,speed controle, and radio . you could get you a rtr rustler.
its not the best truck in the world best it is better then the junior t, i had chance to drive one and i know. but if moneys not a problem go for losi's new xxxt, trust me the difference will be outta this world.
