Can anyone's car do a burn out? I'm curious, not really smoking tires but spinning tires? It would probably be easier with a RWD light pan car or something, has anyone ever done this? Can it be done? http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif

WELL, with todays 'high tech' super grippy tires, nto alot is done, and slippage is RC's enemy, but once, i lifted the rear of my truck with my hand, and floored it, just so my tires were barely touching, i did it for a little bit, it was pretty cool, they left little black marks on my concrete, it was really hard on the motor.

Well if I find a spot on the road with just a little gravel on it I can spin them with my XXcrKE. But not on bare pavement. I can do powerslides easily though. Hey has anyone ever done a 360 with their car? I have and thought that was pretty cool. But u guys probably have faster cars and can do it easily.

Heh, my FTGT won't STOP doing burnouts. (I love that MT-12) I can hold one for about 35 feet in my driveway if I can manage to keep the rear end from swapping places with the front, which is extremely difficult. Actually, it either does burnouts or wheelies. Depends on how much traction it has =) It also does great 180s and 360s, tap the brakes, flick the wheel, then gas it again. If you get it just right and keep
blipping the throttle during the spin the truck will do a 720 while continuing in a almost straight path. Amusing but not easy on the tires =) My Road Rage IIs leave pretty decent black marks too. When the street is damp, I if I spin the tires for about 10 seconds and then come to a stop, the the moisture steams off the tires. Pretty cool! My RC-10 with a 12x4 and 7 cells does burnouts pretty easily too.

My real car does them too =)
Here is a small sample, after breaking in my new gearset and positraction over the summer... This is a baby one too =)Wheeeeee! (http://www.jimdyerchevyclassics.com/69chev/burnout1.jpg) Too bad my tires are $175 a pop... That helps keep my right foot under control!

I meant on a regular road surface. On sand or lose anything any car can do it, if your car can't, well then you don't have a good car. http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif I can do donuts extremely easily with my spec racer pan car, and even my ta03 can do donuts. You guys should also try driving on ice, it rules! You go backwards, slam into forward and the tires just spin like mad. http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif

My FT GT can do endless dounuts in my garage. It will also do 30 FT burnouts that leave black marks. And when I go from a burnout in the garage to the high traction of the driveway it squeaks and leaves a short, heavy black mark. It will also throw a high sky wheeli when it hits the driveway! Oh, and it will pop wheelies anytime on the driveway and road.

I can do 360's on the road with my max. BX and pull wheelies on the road with my stampede until the rear end starts wobbling and it flips over. Both cars are nitro.

My RC-10GT will do endless 360's on pavement(and not the smooth stuff in your basement either) with a set of worn to slicks tires on it. But if I try full throttle(or even half throttle) in a straight line down the road, it just spins around. AND all the engine I have is a OS .12CV w/ .56bhp, my GT can also SMOKE my neighbors t-maxx(not worthy of being capatalized), except in the REALLY rough stuff.

i have an rc10gt. there is about a 1/4 layer of gravel at the end of my street. i can do burnouts for like 5 feet complete with flying gravel. Also if i come into the gravel at high speed and slam on the brakes, ive pulled off a 540 already.

I have been drawing out plains to make a 4wd car into a 2wd. But this 2wd will be geared for toque. Here's the cool part, I'm making it for use wih a 3 channel remote. 3 channel?, you might ask, what for?
Well the third channel will activate a servo to put a pin in a hole in the custom front diff. to lock up the front tiers.
That combination on a car with a Chevy caprice cop car Body would be great. And just to add to to burnout, I'll put bleach on the pavement to make 'em smoke.

I have a friend who has a Bolink pan car. He had a Chevy truck body on it and it was sweet. One night we were racing he had his truck on a white line in a parking lot. He floored it and left rubber markes across the line. The truck only had a stock moter in it but it was geared to low for more acceleration, a lot of acceleration!!! hehe

I have a B3 an mounted some torn up pins on the rear and it did some mad burnouts on vinel flooring, left black marks all over the floor. Did the same thing outside and I was doing wheelies! http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif

I tried that with my dirt oval car on pavement once, the tires spun and then I smoke out the back! Unfortunately, It was just a motor capacitor that blew!
