future of outlaw racing?

I'm about to get back into racing after being out for a year, (what a lot of changes)they are starting to run outlaw 4WD onroad nitro here in socal, any opinions on this before I spend alot of money?

Outlaws, aren't they sprint cars that run dirt.

No they are modified touring cars to 235mm width.
