Backing question

Yeah, it's me again :)

Ok, I (gasp) finally sprayed some paint on an actual body... now, I've given it a dark color (dark blue pearl in fact) and I have some flames masked off.

My question is , should I back the blue now? Or do I finish the flames and then back everything at once?

Basically Im asking if each color should be backed individually, or do you wait and get it all at once...

yes back each color individually.
you can back the pearl blue with either silver or gold for a more mettalic look.

If your flames are two tone i.e. red edges and yellow center, don't worry about backing individual colors. If you're about peel up a piece of masking, back your other color first.
