Can anyone tell me what I would need to do to put either Savage SS or MGT rims and tires onto my Ofna Violator??

I did this with my ofna buggy and it didn't last very long. Meaning, I didn't keep the setup very long. Something about it just didn't work the way I expected so I took it all off and went back to the regular setup.
As far as the conversion, you are going to need the adapters and different gearing. I don't know the part numbers for yours specifically as I put Maxx tires/rims on mine.
Good luck!

Thanks for the info. Specifically what didnt it do that you were looking for?
I run this one alot on the grass where it gets higher so I figured the larger tires would help. I dont mind going with the hub adapters, just wanted to see other options. As for the gearing, yup got the parts to lower it down.

You need to gear it down so that the extra weight doesn't put an overwhelming amount of stress on your differentials. This makes it go slower. I like to go fast.
You also need to ensure that you have a beefy steering servo. I had one, but it still didn't help out. The turning radius was cut significantly.
Braking was a joke. It was improved by putting the HiTec 645 on there, but it just didn't seem to want to stop like I thought it would have, you know, like the monster trucks that are designed to be monster trucks?
The constant rolling over was junk as well.
I could have been doing a ton of stuff wrong. I could have had a lot of the "settings" wrong. I just didn't like it. After 3 tanks of fuel, I never used the monster tires again.
Something like this - http://www.robsrchobbies.com/inc/pdetail?v=1&pid=396 - might be a better idea. No adapters, still pretty light, and reasonably priced.

Hey sdillon, the Blazer SST is the same platfom as the Violator. Just buy the stock tires, clutchbell and spur gear from the Blazer..and get a better steering and throttle servo like Ruiner said and your good to go.

Try the HPI Nubz Their a little smaller truck tire I think they would work great. They should also fit right on
