So after watching (and listening to me swear :) ) me mask off and then use an Xacto knife to cut the tape with, my wife asks me why I dont use a Rotary Cutter... to which I replied, what the heck is a rotary cutter??
She says its this tiny little pizza cutter looking thing that they use to cut fabric. They are quite sharp and they make some pretty small ones...
Has anyone ever used anything like this? Would it work?

I'm sure it would work. However, if you have complex curves that back into one another, nothing beats being able to use the sharp point of a blade. For nice rolling lines, I'm sure the rotary cutter would be great. Personally, I'll stick with the knife, I have a hard enough time as it is trying not to score the lexan and the last thing I need is something I could easily put too much effort into and go right through my masking and half way into the lexan. But, that's just me and my sausage fingers.

I've used one before and like piggy said for large areas they rock but for tight lines like the inner corners of flames your better off with the xacto knife. and if you plan to use one make sure you get a self healing cutting mat designed for the rooling blade keeps it from getting dull quickly.

if the fabric cutter comes in a smaller diameter that would work perfect in most areas. i think the roof and hood areas would be hard to get to though.
