Humming noise

My rc10b3 is having this high pitch squeal/humm that i assume is the cause if my 1/2 speed slow down. I just finished putting in new diff balls, top shaft, and resetting the differentials. I think it could be a loose pinion gear, but don't know. any ideas?

Sounds like a spur/pinion mesh or something.

Thats probably the ball diff..remember, you rebuilt the differential right? Then it cant be anything else...the problem is going to be situated were it first started. If (example) your esc doesnt have the LED on, cant it be the fault of the reciever, the motor, no...that was just an example. Your diff is too tight. Remember, you have to back off a little. It happened to me too...Car was realy messed up. Hope this helps. Email me if you have any probs.

Make sure you don't have the pinion too tight against the spur. Its probably the diff though.
