XXX-T is a solid truck, read the thread about them, all the info you would need and then some.

11turn motor for someone green is going to make you mad, it's going to go fast but only last like 5 minutes unless you have gp3300's or better, then you might see like 10minutes+. But it will tear.

If your going to just drive it, look into a brushless setup if you have cash otherwise just get a 19turn motor "stock"

If your going to race, then stock would be 19turn, and mod would be anything.

I like runtime but I want to race so I had to give up nice half hour runtimes with a 17turn and go with 10minutes with my gp3300's.

But lest see what others have to say about it.

Cool, another XXX-T owner. I'd reccomend a Trinity Chameleon 2, wicked fast. Plus the C2 is one of the best affordable motors out there the is very affordable to re-build, and easy to tweak. As far as batteries go I'd go with SMC 3300 stick packs, I run ones that have to be built, then again I have been racing so.........anyway. Oh as for gearing use 86/18 or 86/17.Anymore advice I'm around, and not leaving R/C any time soon.
