The new RCCA has a tip that claims Nitro car wash will remove FasKolor paints for a second try. I've never tried it.

I tried using acetone to remove automotive paint from a lexan body (previous owner used the wrong paint) and the lexan turned a hazy color and most of the paint would not come off. Definitely not worth the time or effort.

All of those things mentioned (at least the nail polish remover) will take off the paint and make your clear lexan body turn almost white, it will be ruined. The best thing to use is denatured alcohol, it works kind of slow but it won't damage the plastic. You can buy it at most pharmacies (16oz)and I just saw it at a Home Depot in a 1 gallon jug for about $5.

Ok.... $5 for 1 gallon of alcohol. Say it takes you 3 hours to get the paint off...

A new body is around $20-$5=$15/3=$5.00 per hour.

I don't know about you, but I'd rather just buy a new body than get paid $5.00 an hour to MAYBE get the paint off!

(If you don't understand this... Just buy a new body!)
