I Have constructed a hull from 2mm steel plate aprox. 28" long x 10" wide (think dutch barge shape) , with a straight prop-shaft (3mm x 10" long...ish) thredded at both ends (with brass prop) the rudder has an arm ready for fitting a servo. I dont want it to go fast, i just want it to go. Could somone give me a place to start, i.e what motor, servo and controler i need...
Thanks....

Do you have an old r/c car laying around? Those items will easily transfer over.

I made a Orca replica model I dropped a dumas 500 in it with a cheap electic spped controller with a BEC. She runs great and looks very scale. I use her to recover my Gas boats if they die in the middle of the lake.
