well i was like you at first so is i hang around websites till i meet some guys who's into rc too.when you're on your own(like i was for nearly 3 years) internet is your best mate.

if you don't meet anyone into rc in your area,i'm sure you'll get somebody else involved and it is easier for two neophytes to figure out a problem than one alone

Try rcpimp.com it is a site based in southeast Michigan. There are a couple tracks in your area. The track I use is in Saginaw, but there are a few closer to you.

Where is Port Huron? Is that on the east side of the state, Detroit area? I live in Muskegon, on Lake Michigan, west of Grand Rapids. There are a few of us that try and run a couple of times a month. If you are kind of close, post back and let me know.

Port Huron is on the other side. North of Detroit. One of three bridges to Canada from Michigan is there.

The Sandhill Track in Saginaw and Red Line Racing guys are in your area.
Both are a great group of guys that should be able to help you.
