I have a P2K Pro and i am looking to replace the old brush with a new one. Should i get laydown or stand up brushes and which brushes do you think are good?

You should replace the brushes on the P2k with laydown (stock) brushes. Before you do that get the comm trued if you can because replacing the brushes without a trued comm will cause severe comm wear. A brush that is good for all around use would be Trinity's 4499 nt (no termenial) or the 4499. I think that is the number. http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif

Reedy 767's and 766's are the best, then Trinity 4499, if you have WarLock Brushes where you race, get #660

Are these Reedy brushes hard on the comm and how many 4 min. runs can you expect to get out of these ?

When i ran the P2K, i did not notice any more wear than with the 4499's. The 766's i have not tried, but heard they are great.

I cut my comm every 3 race days, and replace the brushes with a good thorough cleaning after every day. When i ran the 767's, i would go 2 heats, and 1 main, with 2-3 practice runs(harder on the motor than the race, i run 2400's, they last about 10 minutes, if not longer) I do notice a little, and i mean little difference with the 4499 on comm wear, but the 767's are definatley better performance

Always looking for more performance,so I will give the 767's a try and see how they do.
Thanks
