Hi,

Going to make a 2.4h race with a 1/10 TC.

A part from a programmed 5 minutes break for car legal control in the middle of the race, the race will be all in one session.

Brushless are not allowed.

My idea was to use a 23T motor with a fan for force additional cooling ...

Does the brushess and motor will survive 2.4h ? ... I guess I will need some silver brushess ... and a realtive soft gear ... around 1/7.

I guess somebody will use a stock 540 tamiya motor ... or some other 27T motor ...

Thanks

Are you saying 2.4 hours, or 24 hours?

I would probably use a V2 can and endbell with a 27t armature. If it's 2.4 hours, I would use the V2 19 turn Element motor.

We have alot of 1 hours enduros here. Most ppl use their regular 27T motors with regular brushes and geared down a couple of teeth. The most they do after the enduro is cut the comm. Would be a different story with 19T's and down. I've seen silver cans used, but they never win, usually 75-50 laps down.

24h race in a 1/10 scale is 2.4h = 2h 24min

So it sound that even a 19T motor can survive for 2.4h ... so since I have many 23T motor available I will use on of them ... I will also add a fan on it for help the cooling ...

I'd pick up some fancy silver brushes and run them with slightly softer springs, they'd last the run easily, but you should cut the comm after.
