I've got a body I really like. It's cracked in various places(around the wing holes especially). How do you "mend" these up? I've tried hot glue, but that just lets go after a bit. What do you guys use?

You can try athletic shoe repair cement (shoe goo) or "weld" it together with a soldering iron.

this is what i do
1:get a small drill bit and drill a hole at the end of the crack(helps stop it from cracking more)
2: drill holes at each side if the crack ( around 8mm apart from each other)
3: get some fishing line,or small wire, and thread it through the holes( from side to side)
4:tie it off , then use some CA glue ,to put over the fishing line/wire.
5: then if need be use /put some hot/heat glue on it.
thats what i use/do.

When my bodies start to get messed up I drill a holes like pp13b said but instead of doing all of that I just get some small zip ties and reattached the parts of the body that are messed up. It doesn't look that good but it holds really well.

I have used the fiberglassing method....take some fibre glas cloth, and using shoe goo or silicone sealant instead of epoxy, coat the cloth and apply it to the inside, just as you would with fibreglas.

Used to do the inside upper edge of the denders where they always crack, worked good.

I use the glue from a pool patch kit. It is flexable and never lets go. I also used jb weld but it slaps. It is good for wing repair though.

in the future, install rubber grommets in the body post holes

On flat surfaces i use clear Lexan on the underside and hold it on with double surface "Carpet Tape" Redrill the holes. I do this before i Race it to add strength.i paint the Car first.
