If I was going to build a battery pack from sub-C nicad cells for the sole purpose of breaking in brushes in my motors.... Would I be better off to make a 3 cell pack, or a 4 cell pack?? My charger will charge either.

In the past, I always used an old 4-cell pack. In my opinion, I believe running it longer on the lower voltage 3-cell pack would be better.

A two cell pack works best for breaking in motors, a three cell pack will work also. 2 volts is ideal...

Do you connect the pack directly to the motor or to an esc?
