I don't even know if I should but...can I lube the big gear thingy on my tranny?
If so, I have some Moly Lube stuff that is a fine spray powder and the label sounds like it would be ideal.

But... would it even be necessary? What would it improve?

Thanks for any help...after all, I am just getting into this.

Spray powder??? If it is graphite don't use it unless you have a gear differential. If you use a graphite based lube with a ball diff it will slip. If you do have a ball diff use the diff grease it came with.

I don't know if it is graphite based. It is Molylibdenum or something. It is super-fine... like grease but it doesnt atract dirt. As I said I am a newbie so I don't know what kind of diff I have. I was just thinking of putting it on the big gear that is spun by the motor gear thing. http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/confused.gif
