createx paints????

ive read here that micheals carries these paints so i droped by this weekend and no luck no one there ever heard of these paints maybe i was wrong? ive been wanting to find a place that i can get paints locally so i dont have to order online all the time. my lhs just carries rattle cans. i live in Corpus Christi TX if anybody knows of a decent place or if anybodies knows of a chain. thanks for any help.

In all the Michael's around here they are over by all the drawing supplies and the wall of sharpies...not by the painting stuff.

Micheals usually does carry a small selection of createx. It's located above the limited airbrush case. Price wise you're still better with mail order. BearAir.com or Coastairbrush.com are great suppliers and very reliable. There are others too, but I haven't used them.

Otherwise, if you have your heart set on buying locally, look through your local yellow pages for art supply stores. Any of them should sell createx.

here in NY the micheals here had a ton of them, here they were by the painting supplies.but i have mised reveies of tryn i out on rc bodies???????

Heh. Michael's is one of the worst places to try and find anything. Their logic as to where things should be placed is about as twisted as whomever is in charge of the same at my local WalMart.

BishopRyan, if you only have the one Michael's near you, then for sure mail order would be your best bet. I still haven't had time to get to another Michael's down the highway from me (I live north of Austin), but the one closest to me doesn't sell Createx, at least not to the knowledge (very limited as such) of any of the employees there. I think they hire people at that location who couldn't even hack it at WM.
