My brother was an offroad racer back in the late 80's. He had sponsors and he went to Ohio and Florida for nationals and everything. When his first kid was born, he got out of racing and sold his $34K worth of stuff (the buyer had to bring a U-Haul LOL). Well, he kept a handful of things aside so when his kid got older he could fool around with the stuff but since he checked out my TMaxx he thought that would be fun for the kid so he wants to sell his old stuff.

I know a hobby shop owner who wants to buy the stuff but I don't know what it's worth,... here's what he has:

2 RC10 buggies. 1 with a carbon fiber chassis and shock towers. they have undamaged bodies, motors and work fine

8 motors - all mods from back in the day

8 or 10 batteries - I think mostly 7 cells

1 Magnum Senior radio with 3 rechargable packs

1 Magnum Junior radio

3 chargers,... Tekin, Novak and Kyosho

Novak reciever

Futaba reciever

at least 2 ESC's

A couple of servos

a bunch of misc stuff like: pinion gears (with a holder), plastic parts, some wheels and tires

I would just like a clue as to what this stuff might be worth. The HS owner already said he'd buy it so I'm bringing him the stuff this week.

thanks

Big - I guess you got your account to work... http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Your question is a tough one. It depends on the condition of the equipement and frankly what someone is willing to pay. Maybe you should consider listing these items in the For Sale section of out BB and see what happens.
